Whats better a asus or acer netbook/notebook?

Anyone recommend it? I'm thinking of buying one next year, but idk. And does anyone have one here? I have a few questions i wanna ask =3

I've heard and experienced this also.

My sister had an Acer monitor that died after a few weeks XD

I don't know, that's just what I've heard from many people. If you're going to get a Windows computer, get a Dell or HP.

I had a problem with my Acer Aspire 5024 which was just over a year old. The hard drive crashed. Acer replaced the hard drive and the DVD drive and then sent it to testing; it failed. They then replaced the motherboard and then sent it to testing. Astonishingly it passed the apparently "rigorous testing" process. So they sent it back to me - six weeks later.

After powering it up, it took all of five minutes before it started crashing. I soldiered on for a few more hours before it completely died. Now, when you turn it on, it goes round in a cycle of illegal operation screens and never manages to load up Windows. All this, within less than 24 hours of it being returned to me.

To top all this off, the customer service/support team have lied to me, told me to chill out, told me it would be delivered when it wasn't, told me not to write a letter of complaint and to complete the list of their utter incompetence, sent the stupid notebook to a non existent address when they attempted to return it to me; muppets!

I put it to you that ACER are a useless bunch of no hopers who operate with absolute incompetence and who build useless systems that can be used for less applications than an old fashioned wooden ruler.

My conclusion? DO NOT BUY ACER. NEVER-EVER. I GIVE YOU MY WORD THAT YOU WILL LIVE TO REGRET IT. JUST GOOGLE "ACER PROBLEMS" AND YOU'LL FIND THOUSANDS OF REASONS WHY.

In my opinion, all netbooks suck and are a complete waste of money. You're better off getting a small laptop or saving your money until they actually create a decent netbook.
