Out of all the Pokemon existing, which 6 would make your team?

It's a toughie, but I think the 6 that I'd like to be with most to represent me on a day-to-day basis would be:
Charizard
Houndoom
Raichu
Dragonite
Gengar
Ditto

But the 6 I'd prefer to use in battle would be:
Blaziken
Gyarados
Tyranitar
Alakazam
Scizor
Garchomp

Litten and Flareon would be at home, as pets.

Well, I just finished up my in-game team, EV'ed and level 100.

Of course, if we were talking about a real world with real Pokemon, I wouldn't be one of the monsters who is battling these creatures, so I'd probably just have an Ivysaur around. Possibly with a few others as pets.

My team has changed quite a bit on Omega Ruby but these are the pokes that I seem to use the most when battling others:

Arcanine
Crobat
Scolipede
Mienshao
Froslass
Absol

I use these guys mostly because they're very aesthetically pleasing to me, I like their typing/moveset, or both. I've EV trained all these pokes plus some others like Espeon, which I might consider using on a team too (though I don't know of a good offensive moveset for it).

I've also thought about using Sylveon since it's such a tank, but I'm not really into competitive battling so prob not.

A lot of those are either pretty fast or have good abilities. That actually looks like a pretty good competitive team.
