I guess this is the section to put it in. Seeing as this is one of the most valuable (I think) sets in the game, I was wondering what people usually are willing to pay for the whole set.

It's not really one of the most valuable I don't think? Since it can be reordered from the catalogue and doesn't cost massive amounts like the Gracie's sets do. I think it's only about 3k for each piece. So I wouldn't be looking for pay anything more than 100k for it really. Especially when there are catalogue shops on the retail section that charge only the price of the items plus a small charge on top.

Well, what are the valuable items round here?

The unorderable sets can be worth a couple of mil. Gracie sets like gorgeous set, sweets set. Then there's the sloppy set, 7/12 set, cabana set, etc. Basically anything that can't be easily obtained or ordered form the catalogue would be worth a quite a bit

I would leave my street pass on and eventually find someone who has the full rococo set in their house. :> Which is what I have done already. 50-100k seems the maximum you should pay for the set.

I agree with supercataleena, I find that so many people have the Rococo set in their houses in the Happy Home Showcase that if I ever wanted it I could easily just order a full set from there. But if that wasn't possible for some reason I might consider paying 50-100K for it.

No more than 100k. They're spotlight items at the Nookling's, but that's about it. You can re-order them, and they're not too hard to come across.
Valued sets by the community are unorderables, and not-obtainable-otherwise DLC sets.

I charged someone 40k for the set last week. While it is a spotlight set, you can find someone who runs a catalog store to get it for you relatively inexpensive, or go to a streetpass house that has it uncustomized and order it.

I think the only reason it should be expensive is if you're selling a complete customized set. That's like 6-8 hours worth of customizing in Retail and even with time skipping, it can be tedious.

I'll pay at least 100k for the Rococo set. It's not that rare like some other sets even tho it is a spotlight set.

400 to 500k. If I really want something, I'm willing to pay quite a bit for it. I have to watch how much I spend in real life, so I guess I'm a bit spendy in New Leaf.

Around 100k because I'm a cheapskate. Or I'll better trade it off with a fully-refurbished Regal Set if the mood strikes me.

paying for it, for someone else to buy it for you would be about 50k or 100k to 200k, imo. i mean, you're also paying for them to order it and tt to the current day. as an old cataloger, it's hella tiring to do that. but for personally buying it, it costs over 500k igb.
