I can think of two things I'd add off the top of my head.
1. Something that you could give to villagers to make them stay forever. For example, if you gave them a special bracelet, they'd never ask to move. You can ask for the bracelet back at anytime in case you don't want them anymore
2. Bat villagers!

#1 actually sounds like a good idea. I've heard a lot about people saying, "I wanna lock in villagers", but this is a unique way of explaining it to the player.

Anyway, I'd like to see a platypus villager, and the ability to have a music player and bracelets.

Rotation of pwp's
Ability to have transparency on designs
Skin tone option
At shampoodles the ability to pick bangs and the rest of the hair seperatly to create more hair styles~
A npc that allows you to edit clothes purchased from ables
Map maker at the start where you drag your stylus along the screen to draw your river, and stamps for the buildings
Treehouses!
More aquatic villagers and bats!
And backpacks for extra pocket space!

I really like the map maker, skin tone, and backpack idea!

dang..i would play your version of animal crossing.

i think i would really like different interactions/greater variety of interactions with villagers. it kind of gets boring doing the same chores over and over again. and a greater variety of phrases

Maybe some way to listen to the old gamecube soundtrack? It's just so cool to listen to!
Oh, and I would like the little sport ball to kick around too.

Transparent patterns, tree houses, and tall trees! c: I wanna make a forest where I can walk through it and actually see my character.

More interactive with villagers.. like you can ask them questions or ask to play games, go swimming with them ect...

and.... villager families... like, Same breeds getting married then having kids (Ankha and Kabuki having little kittens omg)

Instead of having to hear Isabelles bull**** rant that drags on after you can't place a pwp somewhere, it should just have a grid that allows you to pick where things go. (Like in Harvest Moon: A New Beginning, or Sims)

Ikr and when she gives you a long boring speech on how many spaces you need

Alpaca villagers and Pitaya Cactus.
I also agree with the others on the bracelet idea!

Why is it so hard to give use a skin tone option, dammit.
Also, that bracelet idea is absolutely genius. Or instead we can call the FBI and make the FBI tell the villager they're not allowed to leave town, haha. sorry.

1. Auto-stacking of fruit/coins
2. Add more fish/bugs/art/fossils/deep sea creatures
3. Add another set to to balloons
- maybe a "sky set" so they still have purpose
- would be rarer than balloon set items
4. Add more villagers
- instead of new species add more to existing species: more octopus, alligators, etc
5. Increase villager amount to 15
6. Bigger town map
- now 2 small rivers or 1 long river is a possibility
7. Revamp main street
- shamppodle in separate building
- Able sisters also upgrades & takes in kicks (like tom nook & gardening center)
- Labelle starts dating Kicks :p
- Tom Nook shop also upgrades
- Kicks now also gives you a mannequin
8. New house exteriors
- fruit house set, full exotic house set (not just roof + door), gothic house
- new house shape: futuristic (could also apply to new town hall/train station pwp upgrades)
9. Nature projects
- diffrent from public works projects
- allows you to modify river (straighten out lake, add river bends, move lake)
- allows you to move rock location
- relocate beach ramps
10. 10x10 room space in houses (max furniture now 75)
- 10 x10 all rooms OR
- just main room & add 3 extra rooms to first floor- (2 left, 2 back, 2 right)
11. Better villager dialogue & a lot more of it
12. Make public work projects more interact able
13. Bring back the observatory
14. Police station unlock new mechanics
- no longer requested by villagers
- unlocked by returning 10 lost items + being mayor for 1 month
15. Gracie Gracie sells mannequins in store (100k bells)
16. New ordinances
- merge early bird + night owl (workaholic town?)
17. Separate pocket for tools
- similar to how mail has its own section
18. More fruit (native AND tropical)
- starfruit & limes! (citrus town 4 lyfe)
19. Rover gives you 10 maps to choose from instead of 4
- each map comes with a small icon indicating native fruit
- will make map resseting 200% better
20. Increase max PWP from 30 --> 50
21. Everything has a build space of 1 space border all around
- will make pwp placement much easier
- no more getting mad at isabelle becuase everything is to close to everything else
22. Make island bigger and add different levels of "club tortimer" membership
- standard: as is now (50 medals)
- silver: silver tools available, 10% item buy-back (current is 5%)
- gold: gold tools available , 20% item buy-back, special item
23. Varied tournaments
- fish tournaments were the smallest fish/bug wins!
- maybe a tourney that only counts rare fish/bugs
- a new rarer bug/furniture set (you obtain a piece by getting first place)
24. Add sand bars in our ocean/island ocean
25. More cafe rewards

Im sure I will think of a few more things after lol. And thank you if anyone bothered reading all this
(:

EDIT: skin tone is a good idea, could be another Shampoodle add on (tanning bed)

26. More emotions
27. Grass deterioration solution
- you dont mess up your grass if you run barefoot/with socks
- grass takes twice as long to grow back
- this appeals to those that hate dirt patches or want long lasting dirt paths

^ A lot of those actually sound surprisingly great, however part of me kinda wants the pain that comes from the randomness. I'd think something like editing the river would cost like 10 million Bells, but then again, I don't know if that'd be to much.

Auuuurghh! Curse the randomness that I've gotten used to.

the river idea was mostly to give more purpose to "nature projects" lol
- But I do wish I could change were the lake portion of the river is and I dont like the small little bends that much

But yea I think there should be more player control while still keeping randomness

A good example would be an option that allows you to relocate villagers
- You talk to Isabelle that you want a villager to relocate there home
- You then talk to villager and then get back to isabelle
- The next day the villager would pack (everything in boxes)
- The day after the their house is gone and a new plot shows up in a random part of the map (plot reset time lol)

I read an idea that made it so the villagers themselves would ask you for advice on where to move, so I thought that'd be neat.

The problem with some of the ideas is that the idea itself is good, but it's not executed like the rest and therefore isn't in the "Animal Crossing" style. I like the nature projects idea because it still let's you design part of the town, but you still start out with a random map.

I dont know... hmmm -light bulb pops up- i want the villagers to actually TALK not do blah blah blah

We should talk to Nintendo about this...
