My highest that I've ever had was 563, if I can remember correctly.

I hit 616 bells. It was in my former town Progress. (Dream Address is still available, and it is in my Signature.) This was last summer. I ended the town, via a reset, not long after that.

Above 600 but below 700. Can't remember exactly what it was. Opened my gates for some other players and someone kindly let me visit their town to buy turnips so I could return and sell.
