What furniture sets do you like to give your villager?
For me I am giving them:
Hopper: Mix of stuff
Hans: Unsure. He seems to get rid of Classic set stuff quickly...
Mira: Astro
Rolf: Sleek (Customized with Holstein look)
Rory: Unsure....
Skye: Mermaid
Marina: Lovely
Chester (move in soon): Exotic (Customized Red and Black!!!)
Ribbot: Robo (Gee, I wonder why....)
Ankha: Random stuff that fits with an ancient theme.....and a moon!
I give all my villagers customized furniture, as it's best for raising friendship.
I try to give furniture in colours or styles that will match their homes, but that's not my first priority - if my stash of customs doesn't have anything that matches, I'll still give them something from it that doesn't match.

Wendy: I mainly filled her house with Pave items and it looks amazing. So I'm really trying to stick to that and likewise blue/white items.
Genji/Kabuki: Pretty much anything asian themed.
Zucker: Anything asian themed and food themed mainly.
Apollo: Mostly modern themed things, art, or fossils.
Punchy: Blue furniture mostly.
Katt: Cabin furniture or sometimes classic.
Octavian: Space themed things mostly but his house is a wreck right now.
Marina: Lovely or pink things like the makeup case.
Ankha: Pyramids, Caskets, Sphinx's, Broken Posts, pretty much anything in an Egyptian theme.
it really bothers me when their house has random stuff or things that don't match... i usually try my best to keep their houses looking nice and clean :>

I give my villagers any type of furniture that I feel will look decent in their house.
...Of course, they have a lot of fish and insects and such in their house as well. I don't have the heart to deny their requests. :c
I give them things that match whatever they already have or sometimes customize things for them in their colors, like I gave Marina a pink balloon dog lamp today
