My left Shift key started acting really weird today; when I press it it tabs, turns on cap lock and puts a bunch of random letters like this...

{{}yTyT}ytt

So really, wtf. Can I change what the key does? Or do I need to get it fixed -.-

Yeah, sometimes I use the left or right shift key depending where I'm typing using the home row key way.

I think the keyboard command for your left shift key is glitched, or it could be the keyboard itself. Did this happen randomly or did you do something to it?

Hm... I think it might be the keyboard glitch. Do you use a desktop or a laptop? If you use a desktop, I could tell you that you could plug it out then plug it back in and it should work. For a laptop... I'm not sure.

Just use cap-lock (letter) un-cap-lock that's what I do, I never use shift. =P

Unless its !@#$^&*()_+?><

eh, I might just deal with it and use both my hands to cap a letter -.-

I would go and get your laptop checked, sometimes viruses affect the keyboard to computer system.

You should check to see if you have sticky keys or other accessibility options checked. If so, they would be indicated under the control panel -> accessibility options.

Alright, think scanning my computer would help to see if there is a virus?

@Lewis: They're all off :\

Yes, that would be a good idea.
