What kind of gifts do you send your villagers?

Do you send them shirts you want them to wear, regular orderable furniture/replacing furniture they tried to sell/give away/trade, or do you send them orderables or even any unorderables that you think will look nice in their house?

And do you have a few villagers you send the most letters/gifts to like really inproportionately because i definitely do hahaha

All of the above. I usually have a plan in mind like making their house look better, so I tend to concentrate on one villager at a time. But if I think it will look good in their house, I send it regardless of rarity. I like refurbishing stuff, so they get a of that too.

I usually just give them everything I don't want (furniture, clothes, glasses, etc)

I like having them to keep there furniture in there homes original like the furniture they came with. If they remove the furniture that they're suppose to keep, I order it and send the furniture to have them put the furniture back where its suppose to be.

I used to try sending them clothes I think would be cute on them (aqua Polk tank is still cute on Bam) but their houses would get filled up with clothes. Now I just send them a piece of perfect fruit when I write a letter. They go nuts for them and they never use it as decoration,

I just googled and found this guide to get villagers to wear clothes though because i've been having the same problem. I'm gonna try it today!

But yeah there's some furniture i think would look so cute in their houses but don't know if i wanna ruin the originality of their houses. But I think I might send them anyway

I think you should send them furniture if you want to and not worry about the originality. If you give them stuff you like then their houses are more original to you than everyone else who tries to keep villager houses cookie cutter. I just don’t think clothes everywhere is a good look!

I will take my own advice and start sending them furniture I think will go with their house or personality.

That's what i'm thinking too! I think sending them items you think would go well with them opposed to keeping the house original (in my opinion although i respect the decision to keep it original and think that's fine too) is just a way of making the dreamie less of a collectible type of deal and more towards a personal part of your town. So i think i'm just gonna send them what I want Plus I don't plan on getting rid of any of them any time soon so

Also i read somewhere in that thread that it'll only display the shirt once, which my villagers are already doing because i've tried desperately multiple times to send them the stupid shirts hahaha so i'm gonna try and cross my fingers that their house doesn't become covered in tshirts

I send them items that will look nice in their houses. I'll buy Gracie and RV stuff to send to the villagers.
Tutu is living in a Princess house. Another villager has Zen items from the RV.

The secret storage has replacement pieces for future requests. For Gulliver I get the answer wrong for the chocolate coin. I like to send the lazy villagers cakes, coins and other foods.

Haha yeah I think I'm gonna personally start sending them items I think would fit them, but I think it's really impressive when people keep their villagers original

I found out they display the flowers too when I sent Melba a flower the other day for missing the time I was supposed to visit her house haha so cute
