What.. Just what porter? WHY?

Does anyone else feel like slowly backing away from porter when he shows you a blank list of towns you can visit instead of just saying there is no-one to visit?

I would love to see in the next game a way for your train station to show when others have their gates open without having to check all the time so you can create more best friends

I don't mind it too much since it refreshes. For the most part, I visit other people's towns with a purpose in mind, so I'll sometimes just keep my game on that screen while waiting for them to open their gate.

It's a little time consuming and annoying. The idea is great but I'm pretty sure you would still have to connect to the internet to see who's gates is open.

What I don't like about Porter is that he randomly makes real monkey sounds.
No other animal in the game does that... The dogs don't go "woof woof!" or "arf," the cats don't go "meowwww," etc. It's just kind of weird to have one animal in the game randomly burst out in those "EEK EEK! OOH OOH AHH AHH AHH!" howling chimpanzee noises.

That is a completely goofy thing to not have programmed in there. Why show a blank list? I guess sometimes though it does bring them up if you leave the screen up and someone connects. But still, its weird.

It could also show train delays making it more realistic.
