What is your town theme?

The landscaping and public works in my town are pretty much all fairy tale themed. I think the fairy tale stuff is so cute!

My town is an elegant-ancient-city themed (?). at the beginning I didn't have a theme, but, after a while, I decided to have a town with this theme. c:

I don't think I have a theme... A bit of fairytale in the woods maybe? I'm not even halfway finished yet tho, so not sure what will become of it in the future.

My main town is loosely "The Hobbit"/"The Lord of the Rings" themed, so I am working on making the landscaping look a bit like the Shire. Kind of rural, but well-groomed? It's a work in progress!

Goblin is "Labyrinth" themed, so its landscaping is divided in half: half the town is pleasant and covered in flowers and peach trees, and the other half is the labyrinth itself, with stone paths and no flowers (except the ones around villager homes--I didn't have the heart to take those away from them).

AHS is "American Horror Story" themed, and the landscaping is meant to look like a suburb. There are miniature park-like areas with pretty PWPs like the fountain and park clock, a definite color scheme for the flowers and bushes, and I used some modern PWPs (like the video screen and traffic light) together with a walkway-type path (rather than a road). The overall effect--I think--is that it looks like a suburb rather than a city.

I really feel like the standee and custom design sign PWPs are underrated in terms of the personality they can bring to a town! I use them a lot.

I only have one town with any sort of theme, and I guess it could best be described as a memorial theme? I made it in remembrance of my rabbit, Princess Bun Bun McCloud. I call it my Rainbow Bridge town, because of the rows of roses laid out to resemble the spectrum of a rainbow. And then her actual memorial in the center of the town.

well ive had tons of themes over the years but the main ones i always did was pastel or candy themed. my last reset town that im doing is going to be valley/mountain themed mixed with a tiny bit of candy since im adding a small bakery.

I'm planning to create a village with lots of forestry and trying to avoid too modern PWP's. I hope my villagers will come up with a few great suggestions, otherwise I need to replan.

i just reset not too long ago but im working on a natural/overgrown + pink town!! the villagers arent really a foresty theme though theyre all just my favs hahah

my theme is suburbia, i think? i have brick bridges, a playground, a park, camping grounds with a fire pit, and a zen garden area. i tried to make it look like an every day neighborhood o:

I don't really have a theme for my main town, which is why I like it. It's just a normal town. My second town will be having a winter theme when I get around to it.

Mochi is a fairy tale dream town. It's mostly pink.. okay a lot of pink c: But I didn't stress so much on organizing houses and stuff so I like that I ended up doing paths around the villagers. The DA for Mochi is 5100-6780-7354 if you'd like to look!

Peachy is a normal town. I want it to look like an actual small town. I don't have a dream address for that one though since it's a hot mess where I store a lot of my shop items c:

I just did a system transfer to a new DS, and with it I remembered my digital copy of ACNL. I decided to use that copy rather than my physical one as it just seems easier, but I have to make a completely new town now. I'm not sure what theme I want to go with, although I am considering a very natural, forest-y feel. Any ideas?

I don't play Acnl anymore atm, but when I get my new 3Ds with the Physical copy
I'm thinking about giving my second town a winter wonderland theme.

I'm planning to reset my first town when the Fall update drops (aside from my villagers, I have ZERO attachment to the place), and I'm getting the Amiibo cards for my villagers so I won't really lose them.

That town is going to be loosely based on Oeilvert from Final Fantasy IX, all of my hamster villagers will be like my moogles, and I'm gonna add a lot of the archeological PWPs to give it a historical vibe.

I'm really excited!
