I had a hard of time deciding between June and December.
I love June because it is the month of my birthday, pride month, and I still have school and college age friends and June is usually when Summer Break begins for them.
However, in the end,
I decided to vote for December.
December is just so full of fun activities like Christmas and New Years!
I had such an amazing December 2025 last month. I went to visit my maternal grandparents over at Houston (FINALLY), along with an uncle I met for the first time. Christmas was fun. I got some nice presents, money, and ate ham + rolls. My (this time paternal) grandparents came over.
Then I had a post-Christmas celebration with my them and my cousins two days after Christmas, where we went and ate at a restaurant then went to my (paternal) grandparents house and played some fun games.
My dad doesn't do anything for New Years Eve; he goes to sleep pretty early. But back in NYE of 2020/New Years 2021, I started doing New Year livestreams, where I ring in the New Year with my online friends/viewers. I also been logging onto ACNH for the occasion. A really good way to wrap up December and the year as a whole, if you ask me. ^__^
This may be a bit of a hot take, but also, I actually love the longer nights in December. I am more of a nighttime person than daytime. ^_^
. . .
Besides June, other honorable mentions include February and November. I love February because it is the month of Valentine's Day, and a lot of people do a lot of romance art and even have discount/deals for ship/couple-based commissions. <3333
My friend Ashton posted a lot of romance art last year, and he would have me and other people guess what ship would be posted on which day, based on how certain numbers corresponded to the date of February. For example I correctly predicted that he would post a picture of Sonny (my OC) x Alec (his OC) on February
9th, because we started shipping our OCs together during September 2022--which September is the
9th month of the year. The September theory I had was correct too. That was fun. ^_^
And I love November because it is the peak of Fall (my favorite season), Thanksgiving, the end of Daylight Savings Time, and I use the 26th to honor Stephen Hillenburg (he passed on Nov. 26, 2018), the creator of my favorite show--it's a bittersweet day. Sad, but comforting in a way, :,)
