What is your favorite item to decorate with?

Definitely plants. I have several in each of my rooms, except my upstairs bedroom suite (but I do have the flower wreath there, so that kind of counts).

Beyond that, I don't have the same item in all my rooms; I've tried to make them have their own vibe, although they tie together, I think.

Oh, and while not the same pieces, I do have artwork in several rooms. Either a painting or a statue.

I over use 4-lead clovers, but I love the way they're displayed on a book, it's just *so* nice!

Well, it's not an item, but I like to use pattern designs to hang on the wall. (Not as wall-paper, but as a single square.) I like to do this because you can make it look like album covers on the wall. I also generate all the album covers I have with this website:https://www.thulinma.com/acnl/

I like to use the box seat thing from Harvey's shop cx I like how it can work as a table or a seat :3 Like others have said though, it just depends on the furniture set. Like, I have 2-3 of the box seats in my Pav? room cx

I also think plants look really nice (even regular ones from outside!). Especially if there is a small bit of color in the plant that ties it together with the room. For example, in my Pav? room (again, ik cx) I have an azalea bonsai, and I think it just really makes the pink in the carpet (and the doilies on the furniture) stand out

I LOVE the box seat.
I use these all over the place.

You can put round pillows on them too. ^_^

The bath mat - its in every room, in every house, in every town I have - two of them sit in front of the entrance to the main room and in the correct places in all other rooms.
Why - I'm into feng shui this mat is x2 green and can be stepped over by yourself & by villagers - invaluable.
Next - any item that is x2 of red/green/yellow that can be hung on the wall - eg red aloha shirt is x2 red.

What effect does all the feng shui make - well I haven't got a control town, I've feng shui'ed all of 'em, and really I can't see its made that much positive difference. Shrug, well its an easy option, I hate designing rooms.

I guess most of my rooms are pretty different in styles so I don't really have an item that's in every single room, but my moth orchid pops up in a few rooms and I have plants in almost every single room, but they are different kinds of plants...
