What is your favorite biome?

What biomes do you like the most. This includes the weather, all the plants you can see, and all of the animals that live there. Cities do not count.

My favorite biome is the chaparral, or the heavily vegetated deserts along the coast. I was born in southern California, which was primarily a chaparral. I also like the coastal biome (the narrow ones along the beaches) and the aquatic biomes.

The desert biome depends on where the deserts are. If we're talking the United States, it would rank higher on my favorite biome list.

I like swamps for some weird reason. I've only ever been to one swamp in my life and it was filled with baby frogs and tadpoles. I'd love to visit another one someday
