Presently, adopting a dreamie and plot resetting to get them where I wanted (they were stubborn enough to choose that same area multiple times before I ultimately said screw it
). While the plot was there, I decided to build a bridge fairly nearby, as it was the ideal place for my ultimate town vision. However, I didn't have the specific bridge project I wanted (brick), so the one I placed was to be temporary.
Dreamie moves in, and on that same day, someone pegs me to build a brick bridge. Thus, I destroy the temporary bridge so I can replace it with the brick one.
Apparently, although you can place the bridge there when only a plot exists, it's location does not work as soon as that plot becomes a house. Unfortunately, the bridge is right by the waterfall, so it's not like I can just shift it slightly. There's no way for me to put the bridge I need there as a result of where my dreamie is.
Thus, presently stuck with the dilemma of whether to get rid of that dreamie and try to cycle them back again (taking a long amount of time to do so, but ensuring I like my town's layout), or keeping my dreamie and trying to rework the layout around that area. Which really would suck, because the way it's set up with a bridge is pretty nice.
*sigh* New Leaf problems.
