Do you have a room with the cracked highway and a bunch of construction stuff? Do you have a "backyard" type room with a kiddie pool and a sprinkler?

I understand people wanting to set up themed rooms such as bakeries or whatever...but I have never been able to get behind the notion of going all out with an underwater theme or something like that. What are some that you enjoy? Make your case, and include a dream address if you want!

In all of my towns, I'd say the least homey home would be Dulce's Luna Blue Caf? (bakery), Azrielle's moon temple (thou she lives upstairs in it) or Sonia's Rune Factory dungeon. Probably the dungeon. It has no rooms for living, each room is going to be based around a monster (usually a boss) that appears in the RF series, and then that dungeon decorated to resemble the one they are commonly found in. One example, the Crystal Mammoth in RF4 is going to be in an ice dungeon, to represent Rune Prana, while the ants are going to be in a fire dungeon, to represent the Lava Ruins, also in RF4.

I have a first floor back room where it's pretty much the beach. :3 So the main room has the exit sign to imply that you're "going outside." Then in the first floor main room itself, it's a konbini with the 7-Eleven set. If I had enough room in my town for another house I'd probably do more "non home-like" interior designing because it's really fun imo.

I like to set up my back rooms as outdoor spaces. For my mayor, her back room is a zen garden. For my alt who is a farmer, his back room is his crop storage room.

So far, I haven't gone any further out of the box than that for my houses, but I did set up my museum rooms as an underwater room, a bug-themed room, and a Nintendo room. It was fun to design them, but I didn't think they would make sense in my house.

I remember making my basement into a parking lot. I remember seeing someone make their house into a beach though, it was really cool.

Ehhh I have a basement that is a cemetery :)
Also another basement for a hospital quarantine.
I wouldn’t really consider a lot of my rooms homey-ish though.

My mayor's house is the only full house with living facilities. The others are actual facilities/community buildings like cafe/spa... there's a throne room for one of my residents. But I guess the strangest out of them would be an indoor egg incubator/chicken coop (i have a bird town). I'm going to make an outdoor garden room for the birds too.

Not very much of an outside room, but my bottom room of the mayor's house is sort of meant to be a dream. Or at least, that is what I can most closely relate it to.

I have a full blown university in my main. It has classrooms, lecture halls, a deans office and upstairs dorms the main hall is like a secretary desk and seating with a bike rack and water fountain. I can’t decide if I want to add a music room, art room or gym as my last addition though. So not particularly “homey” but not exactly out of the box either
