What is the highest number of new flowers you've spawned on your island in one day?

For reference, in New Leaf, only 5 flowers of the the ones you've watered would ever spawn each day - 6 if you used fertilizer. But in this game, I've found the the limit has increased from that.

To see how much the limit really is, I made this thread! Post here the max number of new flowers - both hybrid and not hybrid - that you've been able to spawn in one day only. You can also post circumstances of that day that you think may have caused it, too, if you desire.

I think I have only seen four or five so far. But, I haven't really counted either. I just paid attention to the color.

I've had around 10 and a friend claims around 15. Is there an official source on the limit anyone knows of?

I think 10 for me. A combination of both hybrid and non-hybrid.

When trying for hybrids, the most I've gotten in one day is 20! I was blown away as before this I'd get around 5-6 max. I'm not sure if it's a true influencing factor or just a coincidence, but the day they were watered one of my friends came over to help me water my flowers.

It is certainly higher. This is most noticeable when it is raining for multiple days in a row and flowers start to fill up everything.
