What is one thing you wish you could do with your villagers?

I really love all of the little details in this game and the villagers are so much more lively with the hobbies they do around our islands. I really wish I could sit under the tree with my villagers and eat a sandwich or something with them. If I had to pick something not in the game currently in any way, it would be having villagers over to our homes and vice versa like in New Leaf.

What is one thing you wish you could do with your villagers? (related to hobbies or something completely different/new!)

its so hard to pick my most favorite between these two activities, but i wish i could either have villagers come over to my house, or play hide & seek with them again.

I too would absolutely adore having villagers over to my house. I wish I could sit down anywhere, maybe like a reaction. Brewster coming back would be great to eat/drink with them. Also I would love to be able to join in on the singing/yoga/exercise/running

I’d like to be able to eat & drink with them (and eat other food besides fruit), watch anime & play video games, play board games or read with them. I’d also like to decorate their houses; maybe not to the degree of HHD decorating freedom but on a smaller scale (since I understand this is obviously not HHD).

I wish I could play games with my villagers, specifically the ones you can buy as furniture (eg. chess, billiards, foosball, etc...). This could be like a multiplayer game against a computer, and they could reference these matches in future conversations. That would be so much fun!

I'd like to wrestle with 'em,especially the big villagers like bears and hippos.

Eh,not really but for whatever reason I've always thought it would be fun to travel to other towns/islands with one of my villagers.I suppose that doesn't really serve any purpose but sometimes in New Leaf one of the villagers would ask if I went to another town and then they'd say that they wish they could travel somewhere and I would think "why not?".

Interact with objects for sure but also hide and seek would be a cute return and others games idk.
Something else though I wish villagers houses were maybe a bit bland and they had their own wishlists and we have to trade to get items they want so it’s a task but as you fulfil their wishlists for their dream house (both interior and exterior) this helps with friendship too!

If you carry around a cushion in your pocket, you can place it on the ground next to where your villagers are sitting and sit next to them. One night Lolly was sitting by the river. I sat down next to her and she stayed there the whole time (sometimes they get up of course, but this time she kept sitting). At one point she got up to reposition herself and sat more angled toward me, which was adorable. haha

I wish I could hug my villagers to feel better, especially Bea, Carrie, Stirches, Patty, Queenie, and Sterling (yes, even him). Aside from giving hugs, it would be awesome to cook with them as well because our villagers occasionally talk about food. Since Bea’s house looks like you can cook stuff, why not also hold a cooking class involving you and a few of your villagers?

I honestly just want more reactions that can affect villager behavior. And vice versa.

For example, if we have a sing option, and when the villager notices it, they can sing with us. Or if I sit on the floor, the villager can sit with me. Or if I dance, the villager would also dance with me. And the opposite is true with them.

Also yeah, I want to work out, do yoga, swim, hug, and play minigames with them.
