and it was a bad time too because i had a bellyache and was changing my pants... seriously? i was in pain and my villager got stung...

Well villagers change their catchphrases or have conversations or outfits, which is why I can never put the game down since I like to keep my villagers original and it really annoys me if they change their clothing or catchphrase. I always make sure to save and continue before I put the game down, so then if anyone changes anything I can just switch the game off. Sometimes villagers can't help it though.. I logged on to find everyone had changed their catchphrase to otaku >_< So glad I haven't build the reset center though...

ikr i would rather have Isabelle say "remember to save mayor..." in a calm tone rather than get screamed at by resetti even though he is kinder in New Leaf, i just cant handle the anxiety that i will get screamed at...

at least mosquito bites dont leave a mark or anything. theyre mostly annoying when youre fishing and one bites you.

I learned with Wild World 10 years ago 2 things. One, it has an expanded RAM usage, so holes remain even when you go far away from them, and 2, you can use those holes to trap villagers to keep them from talking to each other- or just open your gates to force them all inside. Adapting to New Leaf having played Wild World for so long, I kept most those habits, and to this day still trap my outside villagers. Thanks to the larger RAM usage, the holes remain, and thus, the villagers are trapped each and every single day I play. I then run past all 5 outside to make sure they all have a chance to alert me to make sure I don't miss a move request, but hey, that's how I play. I also tell my visitors there is only 1 rule for my town- NO FILLING IN THE HOLES, AND IF THEY DO, RE-TRAP THE VILLAGER!!

I understand the annoyance when you're trying to lay paths. It's like when you're plot resetting and you have to go through all the dialogue with Nook when all you want to do is save and carry on with your day!
I've literally turned away for a couple of minutes before and came back just as a tarantula was running up to me. Stung me as I couldn't get away fast enough. Also had villagers having conversations with each other right in front of me which I hate missing :(

I got one for you guys...

Put down my acnl game to go do something, come back and the system has crashed into this:

Tried to boot up, just would crash back to this.

I cursed my luck and used a save manager to restore the save and save the cart, but DAMN was that a pain in the ass. :<
