In NH, villagers don't move out without your permission anymore. So its fine to TT backwards to april to get the seasonal diys.

If you find yourself overrun with the Bunny Day stuff after getting it all and still want the cherry-blossoms you can actually go to 2019 or 2021 to get cherry-blossoms without Bunny Day.

No, you definitely can! I started a new Island on a second switch last week and went back to get them. It was exactly the same as it was when I played it originally.

I think Nintendo’s main goal was to not spoil events by TTing forward to them that’s why they lock the upcoming events but once the events are there already, they’re not gonna take them away so you can go back to it as much as you want via TT. I think this approach is just right.
