I have always wondered what happeneds if you have a villiger needing signatures and you take the signatures to a village with the same villiger, can they sign it? I'm just curious..
Because that must be weird.
If you visit a town with a villager that you have, that villager will still not know who you are, making them a completely different villager than the one you have back home. And yes, they can sign petitions for your town.
It IS interesting to note, though, that if you visit a Dream Town, your villagers will recognize you if they're in that town!
