What happened? (Help!)

A few days ago, Moose asked me to move, and I told him to go (since he isn't one of my favourites, and he'd make more room for dreamies). He ended up saying that he'd go on March 31st (which means that he should be in boxes today), but right now he's walking around my town, and he hasn't even mentioned the fact that he's (supposed to be) moving.

What has happened to my game? I haven't TT'd, or told him to stay (when he said the "man, only X days left until I leave this town... should I stay?" thing), or hacked my game. The only thing I did was adopting Whitney from a kind member of this forum, but I don't think this is the reason for this quite weird "glitch" to be happening.

So please, if this has ever happened to you before, please tell me how it turned out. It's not like I hate Moose or I am desperate for him to move away, but it's kind of weird for this to be happening, don't you think? Thanks a lot in advance for your help!

That's strange. If it's the 31st where you live and after 6AM, he should be in boxes.

Well, actually it isn't the 31st, it's still the 30th. I thought villagers went on boxes the day before their moving day?

No, even though they tell you they're leaving on a specific day, they don't. They go in boxes the day they told you and leave the following day. I don't understand it either, but it works like that, lol.

This happened to me a while ago, maybe it's a special event on that day or something? I remember Pekoe saying she was going to move out on a certain day, and I TT to that day and she was still in town, and not in boxes. I think what I did is I TT'ed to the next day, and then Isabelle informed me that she was in boxes. I don't know why this happens sometimes but it does sometimes. I don't know if it'll work for you, but it did for me. Good luck on moving Moose out and if he's decided he's no longer moving away, good luck on moving somebody else out! Hope this helped.
