What goes wrong?

What did I do wrongly here? ><

I have a hot spring in the middle and I put bushes at the corner but I did leave space! Some bamboo can grow beside the bushes but not another one? I not sure what is happening here but some of my bushes die ><

bamboo are like trees and can't grow next to each other.
