Pokemon, Mario Kart, Animal Crossing (obviously), and Harvest Moon! In that order too.

Zero Escape series for the plot but due to the nature of the game, I only recommend it to the older crowds (at least 15+)
To The Moon because of its beautiful story
Professor Layton series for puzzle lovers and overall charming games
Rune Factory 4 for the fun gameplay and variety in dialogues, recommended for Harvest Moon and RPG fans
Breath of Fire IV for the plot as well, though gameplay is a bit dated and the rotating map and the amount of mini games can be a bit frustrating.
Tales of series for the fun battle system, quality varies depending on which game
Radiata Stories for the fun characters (and you get to kick people!)
And last but definitely not least, Legend of Mana for my absolute favorite game.

This. Took the words right out of my mouth.

All of these too! (Yo, we play a lot of the same games. :D)

Portal, Team Fortress 2, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (even better on Wii U), Bayonetta. (= +17 doe)

The games I've loved the most over the years have been Animal Crossing (Wild World and New Leaf), Pokemon (X is my fave), Sims (2 was the best imo) and the Elder Scrolls Morrowind (I didn't really get into Oblivion and don't have anything that will play Skyrim).

I've also really enjoyed countless others, such as Harvest Moon, some Mario games, Phoenix Wright and some random city building games.

I really like The Legend of Zelda games, Earthbound, The Walking Dead (Telltale Games), To The Moon, The Crooked Man, Corpse Party, and Harvest Moon games.

A few of my favorites are: Persona 4, Catherine, Dead Space, Fatal Frame 2, left 4 dead (and l4d2). Chances are if it's a romance (usually visual novels) or horror, I'll enjoy it

If we're talking about 'favorite games'.

- Metal Gear franchise (I love them all)
- Kingdom Hearts 1+2 (spin-offs are hit and miss)
- Most Final Fantasy games
- Megaman
- Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie
- Pokemon
- Kirby
- God of War
- Monster Hunter
- The occasional Mario game
- The Legend of Zelda
- Skyrim (PC)

Really, Animal Crossing is a oddball. It's not a game I should typically like.

Pokemon is my number one, I'll be playing that til I'm an old lady (or more of an old lady than I am now)!! The only other game series I'll likely always follow is Animal Crossing. I like puzzle games like Puzzle Quest and Puzzle Fighter, and Bomberman too. I spend more time on my other hobbies rather than gaming, so I like games I can pick up and put down easily (which is why I only use handheld consoles). I'm interested in getting into the Professor Layton series at some point, I've heard some really good things about those games!

Conception II is also really good, as long as you stick to a few characters and grind a lot.
