Okay, now the wishing well tells me my town could be better but doesn't designate an acre, I think it means there are weeds to be pulled, but I can't find anymore so can someone clarify what the wishing well means when it says my town is satisfactory but could be better?

If there are no weeds, it probably has to do with the total number of trees. I would try experimenting with that; add a few trees (but not all in the same acre), then check back. Try that for a while, and it it leads nowhere, you may want to try the opposite. Remove a few trees from acres that have a lot, checking the wishing well frequently to see if/how your status has changed.

This. I think its trees or flowers.

Okay thank you, I will definitely try this, and flowers don't count at all right?

Flowers aren't necessary on GameCube, but I've heard they can offset any weeds in the same acre. But if you keep your weeds pulled, that shouldn't be necessary. The main issue is the number of trees. It can be tricky to get it right, but once you do, maintaining perfect town status is easy.
