What do you think about the wedding event items?

I just watched a video showing off the wedding items, and I think they look GREAT as a set! What I'm less sure about is their ability to mix and match with other furniture.

Do you see yourself using the items once they release?

I will never use them. I don’t like weddings irl or in games lmao

I see myself potentially using them in (mostly humourous) photoshoots at Harv's Island, but I don't think it's very likely that I'll be using them in the town itself -- unless Cranston suddenly goes and proposes to Gladys.

Jokes aside, my own town is just too committed to its Japanese aesthetic. It'll be fun to collect new furniture, but this is one set that I probably won't have any practical application for.

They look nice as fancy decorations, I won't use them for weddings, but they may have a nice use outside of them.

They're actually really nice, but i don't think i would be using them aside from maybe the cakes lol

they're really cute, and i'm eager to see what people do with them! sadly they have no place on my island, since i'm going for autumnal colours, but i'll still try to collect them regardless <3

i've only seen them through cataloging/list making websites like nookazon or nookexchange but i really like the flower stands, the wall decoration, and the cakes.. i can see myself maybe using some of those to decorate around my island. i'm always down for new furniture being added to the game though!

I don't see myself doing a wedding either but I really like the cake and wall hanging plants! I really like the rest of the furniture, but it's so pink, I don't know what to match it with!

Pink/white and bows are my THING, and there are areas of my island I'm trying to lean into that more, so yes. I also NEED the fencing badly to use in small doses for a particular area. I'm very hyped for the arch in particular, it customises so nicely.

edit: To be honest, I can see myself using all of them except the organ and table. Those might be too wedding-y. The alt colourways for the wedding stuff are a lot more tasteful than the pink and white, so some of the items that look a bit tackier in the pink and white I think I'll still use. =P I have a lot of different, clashing aesthetics on my island and I don't care.

Oh my gosh, I didn't realize that there were color variants besides the floor, rug and wallpaper. The variants look great!!!

I absolute love them. I am really holding myself on buying them hacked, I have a strong feeling you just be able to catalog them so they won't be rare at all, (also I dont want to support hacked items), so I will wait. I am going to use them a lot, especially the organ. My town is medieval themed, and my house is a vampire's castle, so, well. I love the fencing and the bench as well. And the candles, ohhh, the variants dont have the bow, it's so pretty. I will have a church on my island, although I won't decorate it for a wedding, I think the wedding benches will look awesome on it. Ahhh I can't wait *punches a wall*

I love them. I normally hate weddings irl (probably moreso attending them than anything else) but the decor is honestly so nice and I want to use most items you can get from it! I just hope there's a way we can get them all!

They’re beautiful, but the theme is pretty niche unfortunately, and like you said I’m skeptical on how well they’ll mix, and match with current furniture, definitely looking forward to them though, and they might mix better with future furniture,

Still crossing my fingers that NH will get the pocket camp treatment with all the constant amazing furniture, and clothing releases, even if it comes at the cost of micro transaction, as long as people can still obtain them for free if they’re lucky, or are patient.
Controversial opinion I know, I can see why people would hate that, but in my opinion I’d rather have it, even with the downsides, than not have it at all.
