What do you do with your narrow beach areas?

For those of you with narrow beaches (where there is no sand area between the land and the water), how do you decorate them/around them? I want to see others' creative ideas! I made a little cliff overlook over the ocean with a Gallant statue (area is still a WIP)! The benefit to narrow beaches is that you can build cliffs and look out over the ocean off of them! Share your creativity!

I have the 2 southern river mouths, so my narrow beach spots have narrow grassy spots, as well. I used both sides to make mini-orchards, planting 3 of each fruit. It's basically the only place I grow fruit trees, so that worked well.

I only have one and it's just next to my campsite so it's a convenient little area for the campfire to go! and it also quite nicely splits up the beach because in front of the campsite I have a chill resort-type beach and the back is currently flower storage, but will hopefully eventually become like a nightclub!

I have one or maybe two (I don't really stare at them long enough) but there's one with a big fat boulder in the way. So that's fun, lol.

I have a couple thin stretches on Evwirt (none on Arctin, I think) but since I’m going for a feral aesthetic around those parts I just have my usual woods.

Ugh, those boulders are the worst! I don't know who thought they were a good idea! They are literally just in the way! When I reset for my island, I made sure I didn't have any of those boulders!

wow i don't have anything like that on my island, i didn't know a strip could be so narrow but i really like how you've designed around it!

I struggled the most with the narrow beaches on my island. I usually try to plant a few coconut trees at the widest points at the very least! I use small decor in the spaces like little lanterns, or even just a few flowers on the beach. I use the spaces to lead visitors to locations on the beach that I actually want them to visit. I have a few custom designs I use to dress them up that are shells that make it look cute too.

I have to check my game when I turn it on. I don’t even Think I even have a narrow beach area, which is good because I wouldn’t know what to do there.

I also have a large boulder right near my narrowest strip so I mostly just leave it alone except a for a coconut tree >_>

gulliver showed up one day on the narrow strip and I had to push him through the strip or swim around to get to the other side =_= So it’s a good thing I didn’t have too much blocking the way lol

I like what you have done with the statue it looks lovely :) I have seen people line their beaches with glass candles or light up lanterns it looks really nice for that kind of space.

Also I have been seeing people put flowers, weeds along the shoreline to make a natural look and not have it looking bare

Woah that is super narrow. Didn’t know that existed in the game x.x

Might be nice actually just to leave it alone so it doesn’t feel cluttered. I could see it looking nice with the space on top and below decorated too

My narrow strip of beach (I only have 1 narrow strip) is next to a big boulder. So with those two elements I have no real way to decorate it very well. I just kind of leave that area fairly empty as a divider between beach areas. On one side of the narrow area is more of a classic beach theme area (beach towels, sand castle, surf boards, etc.) and on the other side I have a pirate themed beach restaurant / pub (under construction).

So yeah, I've done nothing with it really yet it still works really well for keeping my different themed beaches separated!

I put a bench and two floating biotope planters on one of those little areas. My villagers like to sit there and watch the sea.
