Hi all,

So this is mostly a question for people who don't time travel, but if you are a tter and you have something to say, feel free!

My question is this; once you've collected your fossils and shaken all the trees and checked all the shops and all those other daily tasks, what do you do in your town? Since autumn has just come I'm finding there's not as many bugs around, and I'm struggling to find constructive things to do. Money isn't a huge issue for me since I have a fair bit sitting in the bank.

What do you do during the day?

i spend as much time as possible with my villagers, but if they start getting all "why do you keep talking to me omg," i usually start gardening or planning sections of my town. sometimes i organize my storage and cry at my hoarding habits, and other times i log out of my mayor and work on improving my 2nd char's house.

sometimes, i just lazy fish. this is more when i'm exhausted from real life, not after i've played all day or something. it's the best feeling to come home from school, shower and change into really soft clothes, and lay on the floor with my ds, casually fishing with the game music quietly playing in the background. it's so relaxing, and sometimes i even get pwp requests while i'm just standing there fishing

overall, i mostly just savor quiet moments in town, and try not to rush my goals. of COURSE, i want to finish landscaping the southern section of town, and of course i want to move tammy and eloise out, and my mayor's basement has a weird open area in the bottom right corner of the room, but i like to just laze around town and enjoy myself

hope that gave you some ideas?? :)

I usually water my flowers, talk to my villagers, check wheter there are fish/bugs to catch that I haven't caught yet... At night I go to the island to catch bugs and sharks to earn some bells. I make sure to check all shops for stuff I haven't catalogued yet :)

I will catch up with villagers, especially if I can catch them having conversations with one another. Sometimes I'll go through my closet and storage, getting rid of things I don't really use, if I know I can order them again. This week, I'm switching over my wardrobe, putting summery items in storage, pulling out fall things. Then I have to get them orderly in my closet (I'm a geek and like things alphabetized).

Sometimes I'll just sit in my house, changing the camera angle, so I can get a feel for the room. Or grab a coffee to go from Brewster and go sit someplace in town, just enjoying what I've accomplished so far. Yes, there is a lot of landscaping yet to be done, but there are some pretty areas that are finished, or mostly so. It's easy to forget to enjoy what is already there in the quest to make everything "perfect".

Lol... Everything you just said is basically what I do everyday then go off. I usually talk to my villagers, or TRY to find a villager that I want to talk to, or I'll just go fishing. I just unlocked PWPs but since today is Labor Day I can't do anything right now :( Which means I have to wait ANOTHER day before I can start building, and then wait another day to actually finish the construction. But yeah, I kinda wish I could unlock the Dream Suite faster so once I do my daily chores I can go there if I'm bored :)

I always start my day at 5:30pm to find a nice orange sky to update my dream in. I just do some town maintenance very day like pulling up weeds and digging up unwanted flowers, and of course stopping villagers from moving out. I actually have a ton more to donate to the museum but I don't feel like doing that right now.

Well, normally it takes me around twenty minutes doing "The Daily Routine" so to speak.

Then, I go and talk to all of my villagers one at a time. I'll talk to avorites until they don't want to speak with me anymore, and the others just a few times, maybe like five, seeing if they have any favor they need completed or plans they need done. Now that also takes me around twenty minutes, depending on what the villagers would like me to do for them.

Then, after I do that, I go and decorate my house! I'll move things around, trying new layouts, or I'll add new items, and try different combinations. Sometimes, i'll even switch up the rooms, in order to be able to see of some ares look with different sets and overall feels to the various rooms. That takes me around half an hour.

Then, I move on to gardening! I'll adjust my flowers, plant some more flowers, check on the status of my hybrid breeding for the day, plan for some new ones, adjust the gardens, adjust the flowers, bushes, and bamboo that lines various parts of my paths ect. This normally takes me twenty minutes.

Lastly, I'll move onto pwp and/or path works! I normally readjust and/or repave my whole town or partsof my town until I like the feel of it. There's not much to say about this, because each to their own about how they lay out and/or design their paths and/ or pwp landscaping. This normally takes me half an hour.

So, all in all, I spen roughly two hours each day playing ACNL! It s yfar my favorite gameof all time. Period. Yeah I may or may not be a little crazily addicted.

I hope this helps you! I'm sorry for thelong, run on post, but as soon as I clicked on the tread I was like ,"Ooooohhhhh, I have a lot to say about this oooohhhh Animal Crossing: New Leaf Overdrive, activate!" Lol, sorry for my weirdness!

I spend some time interacting with my villagers, doing their little quests (the easy ones), or possibly giving them furniture that I think go well in their houses when they ask for them. I also like swatting some of them with my net for digging pitfalls for fun.

Occasionally I just stroll around town with one or two of my handheld items, and pretend like I'm in the game. When I know I won't have time to devote to landscaping or island tours etc., I'll get up, switch my mayor out of her pajamas, go "grab a coffee" and do my daily rounds, and then log out. When I come back to it later, I might go chill fishing (still so many to collect) and organize my extra stuff for sale on here.

I also like to fit in one or two dream town visits when I play - a random one, and one from the couple of suggested dream town threads on here.

These are all lovely ideas! Yesterday I was so tempted to time travel again, but I stuck it out and last night I did some river fishing, which turned out way more Bells than I expected, so now I have some money to play with for my house, PWPs etc. I'm really glad I just kept with the right time because I ended up doing some gardening and writing some letters. My town is coming along nicely. I'm really impatient for it to look the way I want, but I know if I rush it I'll just get bored. I've been trying to increase my friendship levels with Ed and Melba, and it seems to be paying off! So far, so good.

This thread is so sweet and full of great ideas!

For me, after the shopping and doing trades and stuff on here... I like to just walk around my village really slowly and casually. I talk to everyone at least once (starting to think I should talk to them more than that, as others have said, to increase friendship...). I also love to sit in my Mayor's house, tour each room and hang out in them, relaxing to music and considering other designs. (I never change it though, but I keep adding more rooms to decorate--think I only have the backroom left.) I'm going to start decorating my second character's home as well. My Mayor's house is pastel, so I want theirs to be the opposite (moody, chill, dark). Sometimes I'll go to the island to beetle hunt, but I have enough Bells lately so I don't now. I also need to decorate for Fall a little more and update the designs in Able's...

Catch bugs , fish , water plants , make Qr codes , Play desert island escape , The candy crush thingy [maybe puzzle league ?? Not sure ] , talk to villagers , Search for balloons w presents , play mini games on the island , Go diving , Search for fossils , shake trees , Plant trees , visiting dream towns , hmm what else? [i guess that's it lol]

I do all the usual things first thing. Then at different times of the day I try to find bugs, fish and sea creatures I dont have yet. (Of course some wont be here until Spring/Summer.) Then I buy everything from Main street that I want, put it in my house (thank god extra storage will be completed by tomorrow). I complete the daily tasks usually next then relax and fish in my town.

I havent enough furniture I want to decorate my house so all I do with my house now is turn lights on/off at appropriate times and take shoes and sock off and leave them in specific places and then put slippers on like a mad person. Im about to plan out my town using grids (it takes so long MY EYES) and that'll mean Ill have landscaping to do before chilling around town in the future days coming. I want a forest town, with a fairytale house, but not my Mayors house, a knights house, a mermaid house and a witches house. Fairytale Forest I guess.
