♡ What did you wish for on your birthday? ♡

Hello darlings~ I just had my first birthday in ACNL (even though I had it for over a year I always keep both of my towns in Winter/ Spring) It was so sweet! Three of my favorite villager from my old town, that I now use as a slow-paced cycling town of sorts, were there! I just loved Marshall, "One more year closer to being an adult!" Haha, if only that were the case.. And my sweet Merengue, "You'll still want to be best friends right?" I just adore these cuties so much!

I guess the main point of the thread would be for you all to share your ACNL birthday experiences! Good, bad, weird! I'd love to know! Who came to celebrate with you? What did you wish for?

Last year I wished to be happy. Now whenever a villager is asking me how it's going they always try and cheer me up if I say 'not so good' ;~; I love my villagers.

I wished for a Lunar Lander. my goodness it took a few months more before it finally showed up in my shop. and i almost missed it time-travelling and not checking the shop each time, i swear there was a reference to it on the bulletin board even tho i guess its not spotlight item. the villagers still ask me about it even now six months later, its funny.

It wouldn't have been so bad, but he moved in from someone's void when I was trying to adopt another villager, making him my 10th, he crused 3 perfect cherry trees with his house, and put in in the corner of my map right in front of the ramp to my beach and just...dfoghdfgjh. I push him around every day to make him mad. I want him out.

OH, but I heard that interacting with a villager, even negatively, puts them on this 'friend ladder' and makes them less likely to move out.. If you can, what fixed this kind of situation for me was creating a new character, introducing them to the villager I wanted to leave and then had that character completely ignore them.. They usually want out in a week or so!

Yeah, I've heard that too, but since he's my 10th it'll be harder to move him out anyway. Plus I get a bit of mean satisfaction by making him mad as much as I can. Muahaha

I wished for a Lolly shirt- there's a really cute one on Redbubble that I want :3 I never did get one, but my villagers still ask me about it all the time, even though my birthday was all the way back in January x3

My birthday is tomorrow! I haven't decided what to wish for yet. Two years ago I wished that Bones would move in, bc I'd seen people say that that sometimes works on getting villagers to move in, well I ended up getting him a few months later from someone else, and my villagers still wouldn't shut up about him (even Bones himself lmao) which got annoying p quickly. Last year I went in a different direction and wished for "rum ham" (It's Always Sunny reference) bc it made me laugh, I'm actually kinda sad my villagers aren't gonna ask me about rum ham anymore :c

I started acnl not too long ago, I think september 25th? And my birthday is in october so it was pretty fast! The ones I talked to the most in my town were Boomer, Velma and Sparro so they hosted a surpise party and gave me a cake, that I ended up eating later on xD So far all the villagers now and then ask me if my wish came true yet ahahah

My birthday was earlier this year and before I restarted, so I don't remember. I'm sure it was something boring, like: "To have fun" or "To be happy." I told my villagers it was a secret because I didn't want them to keep bringing it up later.
