What did you think was under that boy viking hat before Wild World existed?

for me, i thought it would be hair, but i always thought it was glued on, making it impossible to take off.

Considering there was no hair peeking out of the hat and no ears, I think the boy wanted to hide his baldness. Glad someone chose to acknowledge the Viking helmets, though. I still wear it in New Leaf, meaning that I go up to Mabel and demand that hat, and I even make the pattern go upside down (Because New Leaf screwed up the way patterns are mapped to hats...)
