I own an old Wii that hasn't been used in years since we lent out the remotes and never got them back. I also have a Gameboy Advance SP that I bought locally a couple years ago when I got the urge to play GBA games. It's still in amazing condition, save for some scratches. My main game on it is Harvest Moon More Friends of Mineral Town.

I got a DS Phat for my 10th birthday and it was my main console until 2012. I played Nintendogs and Wild World and loved the Pictochat. I got in trouble for swearing on it while me and my friends used it at daycare, lol.

I bought my DSi in December 2012 when I dug out my Phat and lost the charger. Side note, I lost the Plat charger when I was younger and was convinced my grandmother took it because she didn't like me playing video games. Anyway, I discovered I couldn't easily find Phat chargers so I wound up buying a DSi. I loved it and abandoned my Phat quickly.

I bought my original 3DS in 2013 and bought New Leaf the same day. New Leaf is still my favourite game with Nintendogs as a close second. I also enjoy Pokemon Art Academy and Pokemon Picross.

Last week I bought a Pikachu New Nintendo 3DS and it is my new favourite console.

Me specifically, I have the DS, 3DS, GameBoy, GameCube, and WiiU.

The GameBoy is a really old version that takes batteries and has no back light.
It's purely for visiting the ACGC island.

That is unfortunate. :/ Does it just need a new 72-pin connector or is there something else wrong with it?

Eh it has struggled a bit since like 2002, and it stopped working in 2007. I mean, I'd turn it on and would get static screen or black/grey screen. It's been a decade by now so I dont' remember well.

I remember playing Mega Man 2 on it back in summer 2007. Last game I played on it.

So I'm not sure if it's completely broken or if it can be salvaged, but tbh I've gotten used to digital copies of NES and SNES games so I'm not really looking forward to get it fixed.

Ah I see, if the power light is blinking red along with some sort of weird screen output, it probably is the connector. If it powers on, but does not produce picture at all, it probably is the actual video output which means your motherboard needs to be replaced unless you know how to solder. :/

Quite a lot.

For home consoles, I own an NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Wii U, PS2, Sega Dreamcast, and kinda Xbox 360 (It's not officially mine yet). In our house we also have a broken original Xbox, a PS4, and my brother owns an Xbox One. I've yet to get a Switch though.

For handheld consoles, I own a Gameboy, Gameboy Advance SP, DS lite, DSi, a broken DSiXL, and two 3DSXLs.

If you turn it on and it gives you a blinking red light or a grey/black screen, then there's a connection issue with the cartridge. You'll want to get the connector replaced, and clean the games with rubbing alcohol regularly.

Edit: Also, even though I've replaced the connector in my NES, it still had connection issues. That's because the design is flawed. You just have to play around with it a bit to get it to work. But once it works, man... It's a real nostalgia machine.

Since you've mentioned past consoles, I've owned a Mega Drive and a Game Gear in the past. Only had like 6 games or so for the Mega Drive, though, and Sonic 1 was pretty much the only one which was a top selling title.

The Game Gear just sucked. I had a Sonic and a Shinobi game.
