what causes the campsite glitch?

my sister just got that glitch where isabelle says someone is in the campsite but there isn't and i was wondering if anyone knew what the cause was or if it's really bad
she has been time travelling alot to get redd quicker if that has something to do with it

It happened to me sometimes when I TTed, but it's not game breaking. My campsite works fine and I never had it again later on. It seems like it's a small error that can happen while TTing?
