we had pizza toppings, then we had burger toppings, it's time to complete the trifecta:

what are your favorite hot dog topping?

me, I like'em all, but my favorite combo is mustard and sauerkraut (NYC style...)

those bacon wrapped hot dogs that they sell on those makeshift carts in L.A. always smell & look so good but I'm always too paranoid to buy one from them

I remember back in late 2014 I was exiting a music festival and there was a vendor on the corner with those exact hot dogs you're describing, but they were adorned with onions too, and I could smell them from a mile away. Sadly, I spent all my money on merch at the time and food earlier that day and so did my bud. I was legit sad on the way home because they smelled so damn good.

remoulade... interesting; i've only used that on fried seafood...

it's a bit of an acquired taste, but it's a staple in danish cuisine, and tastes delicious with all kinds of stuff. french fries and remoulade, for example, is amazing!

A decent sized dollop of ketchup always does the trick! Can't go wrong in that at all :p

oh wow, i did not know it's Danish. here it's viewed as part of Louisiana Cajun cuisine, it has an orange or pink tint from the paprika and cayenne pepper added to it; i have dipped french fries in it, that's good. but usually its for crab cakes or on fried shrimp or fried oyster po boy sandiwches. i bet the sauce is a little different in europe.

God, I've only had a hot dog once and that was years ago from Ikea iirc. rip

from Ikea!? my sympathies...

ketchup and roasted onion pretty much i guess lol i don't care much for it but mayo can be good too!

I had a random hot dog from a market stand thingy and it had roasted onions ketchup and mayonnaise in it.
But otherwise I'm not a big fan of hot dogs.
