total a-hole
Here's a list of my top ten favorite songs of all time. Discuss lists, share your own.
As for my list, it's always hard as *censored.3.0*ing hell to narrow it down, and it may change from time to time, but most of the songs here are rock solid to my tastes and are never going to change.
1: Fat Lip - Sum 41
My all time favorite song without any doubt in my head whatsoever. The song is catchy as hell, and a classic punk-rock anthem. Easy to love, easy to sing to, easy to dance to. Everything about this song is perfect.
2: Dashboard - Modest Mouse
Coming in at a close second. This song got me into Modest Mouse in the first place, and I'd recommend it to almost anybody. Fantastic rhythm and lyric.
3: Coffee Shop Soundtrack - All Time Low
Seeing this song performed live was a dream come true. It's about an affair with a married woman, and the lyrics are fantastic. Again, it's catchier than anything out there.
4: Dammit -blink-182
Another classic punk-rock band with a punk-rock anthem. blink-182 got me interested into the whole punk-rock scene, and I've been addicted ever since.
5: Right to Write Me Off - Amber Pacific
I've loved this song for years, and it brings back memories of the eighth grade- not a damn worry in the world.
6: Jamie All Over - Mayday Parade
This is one of Mayday Parade's most popular songs, as well as one of their catchiest. 'Three Cheers for Five Years' might mean a bit more to me, but this song screams me in every way, shape, and form.
7: B.Y.O.B. - System of a Down
The first time I heard this song was the day I was introduced to true music. I can still recite the chorus in my sleep, and that guitar solo will ring in my head for ever.
8: A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More 'Touch Me' - Fall Out Boy
First off- yes, I like Fall Out Boy. Secondly, I'm not a poser. And thirdly, this is a fantastic song with a chorus I still find myself humming every day.
9: This Could Be Anywhere in the World - Alexisonfire
The origin of my username, actually. I used to be in love with this band (still am) and this is the song that started it all.
10: Playing Favorites - The Starting Line
And to top off the list. I can't really talk much about this song, for personal reasons that I wish to not disclose. But this song will always hold a place in my heart, no matter what. Give it a listen.
