Like what are some items that every room must have when you?re designing. For me it?s lamps and stereos and at least one wall deco. How about you guys?

It depends on the purpose of the room, but almost every room needs a stereo or plant of some kind.

Oh yes I forgot the plants. Though lately I haven’t been using plants much since there’s not that many plants options that go with my rooms.

It depends on the room. Tables, chairs, etc. are all important, of course, and the different series create different moods. I like the little accessories that pull it together and give it a personal feel. I like my house to look as though someone actually lives there. I've been putting things out in my house that appeal to me, if I did live there - stacks of books, a typewriter, candles, tea items, designer bags.

There are only so many options for a sofa, coffee table, and chair. We all get creative with them, but I think the real things that make rooms and houses unique in the AC world are the things you put on that table, hang on the wall, or nestle in a corner.

Hmm.. that’s a tough one. I guess what I’ve noticed in adding things to my rooms is that I always put a food or drink item in there. If the room is strictly a specific theme that cannot have edible items, then I won’t add it. I think I gravitate towards them because there are so many freaking adorable foodie goods. C:

I wish there were shelves that you can put items on. Maybe there are and I just haven't come across it yet? Because of this, I almost always have a table that I use as shelves - villager pictures, interesting table-top lamps, etc. I think it just adds a personal touch for me because at my apartment, we have a lot of bookshelves that hold our knickknacks and collectibles.

Symmetry! I noticed more than anything that in all my rooms I have a tendency to make things line up, put two of the same thing across from each other etc it needs to look "balanced" in my eyes or I'm just not satisfied with it hahah

Besides that, lamps. I'm pretty particular about the lighting in my rooms, and I like making it match the color scheme. =)

I’m very much the same way! Everything and every angle has to match. If I have one item more on the left side than the right then everything seems wrong. But I can’t place the same item twice though ( I have , just rarely...I don’t know why but having the same items on the same rooms gives me anxiety). And by lamps do you mean the ones that have different colorings when lit? Like the lotus one?

I know what you mean! I actually find tool shelf very nice just because it has a bunch of items all thrown together. But how do you make your own shelves? :O

I always have a plant in every room possible. ^_^

I want to so badly! Every time I try though I rarely find any that match my theme. All these plants are very happy looking lol
I do so need to add more plants.

Plants-I probably have at least three plants in every room; and art, especially the dynamic painting, my favorite.

I added the cup cake and it looks so nice! Though for some reason I can?t seem to be able to customize any other room but kitchens with food items. It always looks out of place for me :O

I’ve always wondered how people make the paintings work :O
I feel like maybe since I use overly decorated wallpapers I can never add a painting to the wall. It always looks so weird.

Yeah, the lamps that can be customized to different colors! I love changing the lighting in a room to be like really blue or something lol and playing around with different combinations of light colors. Stuff like the Regal Wall Lamp is perfect when there's no lamps that match the room's d?cor, because they can be customized to like every color and then hidden on the wall.
