Now I've got a few ideas, such as the modern wood set among other ideas, but I thought I'd get some suggestions and opinions on what you would think would fit a rustic theme for furniture. This could also include customization options, if you've got a good idea.
What are some "Rustic" furniture sets?

When I think of rustic furniture sets, I think of almost anything made of wood. So I would consider any of the below to be rustic:
- Cabin Set
- Modern Wood Set
- Green Set (especially customized to the dark green)
- Blue Set (especially customized to the dark blue)
- Alpine Set (especially customized with dark wood and the green tree motif)
- Ranch Set
You could also toss in some items from the Classic Set, but I would just use those as accents and not the entire set.
Some individual items that could be viewed as rustic are:
- Fireplace
- Large Bookshelf
- Tea Table
- Large Tea Table
- Lots of plants
- Tartan Rug
- Cabin Set
- Modern Wood Set
- Green Set (especially customized to the dark green)
- Blue Set (especially customized to the dark blue)
- Alpine Set (especially customized with dark wood and the green tree motif)
- Ranch Set

I actually really like all of these ideas, though I may experiment with the colour wooden sets a little before I potentially use them.

Are you wanting a rustic aesthetic or items matching the Rustic theme for the HHA? Because the game considers the Alpine, Blue, Cabin, Classic, Green, Modern Wood, Ranch, Cabana, and Mushroom series to be part of the Rustic theme. Liquefy's FAQ also has a list of assorted items that are part of the Rustic theme too. The customnewleaf tumblr shows all of the customizable furniture options available so you can plan them out before you waste your Bells on having Cyrus make ugly furniture.

Yes and no. Rustic for the HHA is a bonus, but I'm mostly just looking for generalized 'rustic' furniture. I'll give it a look later, though!
