What are some fun things to do in AC:PG

I usually start by catching bugs and fish, finding fossils and if I'm lucky buying paintings to fill my museum.
The good thing about AC for the gamecube is that you have a lot of holidays to participate in, wait for them or fast forward if you'd like.
Upgrade Nooks store.
Upgrade and pay off your house.
Collect rare furniture or the furniture you like.
Create clothing patterns; I just made a reeeeealy awesome one. You can find patterns online if you have trouble making them on your own.
Go to the island if you are able.
Make friends.
Write letters to your neighbors and send them junk, chances are you can make a lot of money off the stuff they give you.
Try to get the golden tools.
Collect all K.K. Slider's music.
Find the secret rock with your golden shovel every day.
Collect NES games.
Find an igloo in the winter.
Shake your trees for secrets (and bees)
Collect all the fruit
Build up your catalog
Buy and sell turnips
Go to the police station (lost and found)
Plant pit falls and laugh at your neighbors
Run errands
There is plenty to do but take your time. You'll enjoy it a lot more that way.

Everything that Kaiaa said is so much fun! I enjoy planting trees and flowers in specific places to make my town look as nice as possible. It's also fun to collect all of the fruit. I love running errands for my neighbors as well as simply walking around and listening to the music. I love the Game Cube version's music, especially the rainy day music. I could listen to it for hours. Finding visitors like Katrina is also fun. Basically, there is a nearly never ending amount of fun things to do!

I know that the case says "Population Growing", but that isn't part of the name. It's just Animal Crossing.
