Well this one is probably an obvious one, but I forgot that the island sells whatever is in your box, and will put that money to your account, so I fill-up not only the box but my pockets as well.
What are some cool tricks/tips you use?

I don't know if I'd call this a trick, but I use the lines in the sand to judge the distance on where to stop and swing my net when bug hunting on the island. It's a lot easier to tell how close I am by looking at the ground than at the tree, so I am more consistent and don't miss any bugs.
There are some very faint lines in the grass too, but they're harder to see so occasionally I still miss those bugs. Not too often, though.

I thought that the money would be sold based off of Leila's prices not Re-Tail's prices??
They are, so it's really not worth it. I've tested this before.
I used to judge shadows, the coconuts or bananas and the hats I wear to have the optimal amount of distance between me and a bug on a coconut/banana tree so that it would never fly away. For some reason this got changed in the WA update, so I don't use that method anymore, just a tweaked version of it.
