Giveaway What are boxes? New. Gifting Beau? Or trade? Other?

I’m new to the forums here. My goal at the moment is to either gift Beau or trade. I’m not sure the trading values? But villagers I’m searching for are Lucky, Audie, Raymond, Julian, Blanche, Bam, Zell, Diana, Kidd or Sherb. I love beau enough to hope I can find someone who will love him. It feels wrong “just getting rid of him”

The day a villager moves out aka the day that someone can come adopt the villager, the animal has boxes in their house so that's what people mean by "Beau is in boxes".

Hi ^^ make sure the person you are gifting beau to comes to your island at the exact time that beau is in boxes to talk to him in his home. Don’t start the game up if it’s the day after, you can TT back so he stays in boxes for a while.
There is a “Looking For” thread you can find up in the search bar. Post who you are after and a lot of the time people are very helpful!
Idk what else you already know but another tip is “gifted” and “ungifted” usually is stated with the name and it’s exactly what you’d think, if they have been giving gifts to change their appearance and interior or if they’re original.

Wow! Thank you for more info! I didn’t know a character could take gifted items with them. I liked Beaus original home so I never gave him anything besides a piece of clothing. Good to know! And thank you

Hey no problem! Yes they certainly do, that changes the villagers sell rate because most of the time people want originals when going after dreamies!
