What annoys me about some of the new members..

Ok, you see people join TBT everyday, and I'm glad they do. But the thing that annoys me a bout it is that they join, and in 2 days they have like 500 posts. Idk why, but it just does. Anyone else feel this?

Nah, your good. What I meant is new members spamming in random threads just to get a bunch of posts.

Spamming is against the rules so just report it and it will be deleted, however if the posts are not spam there is no problem. If they are just single words or emotes or things that have nothing to do with the topic of the... er topic, just report them.

When I say spamming, I mean like starting 15 topics on the first day they joined about crap thats already been established. I don't know, it just annoys me.

yea it kinda bugs me but i mean they did just join i have been a member for about a year but i made a new account uh but think about it most are not comfortable with this set up and they want to be the one to start cool topics so they arn't hated and they probably didn't realize that that topic was already posted the 15 topics a day that's a little much for one person i think what they should do is give you a limit and the longer you have been a member the more you can post like a weed can only post 3 a day but a rare fruit can post like 20 but i dont mind when some one replys though

Believe or not, early on this did get on my nerves. I've been here nearly 2 years, and some people were and still are getting more posts than I have total in just a couple days or so... I now just ignore them for the most part.

he is right if the new guys were not active on this sight and no one joined the sight probably get shut down it has happened to a sight i used to go to called super nintendo fan or something like that and i dont want that to happen to this sight

It's not necessarily a bad thing. Some members are going to contribute more than others. As long as it isn't spam, it's okay.

And for older members, also realize that there's much more to talk about with a larger userbase, thus there's more opportunities to post.

EXACTLY, someone that understands what I mean. And in the process of doing that, they get a ton a posts thinking theyre cool and THEN leave.

I think it's alright if those ton of posts are actually normal posts and not spam in any way, or posts to start arguments, etc.

If they post daily for a few days and then decide they don't like the forum, that's cool with me, but when they do what I stated in my last post I think that's just stupid.

People post. It happens. They get higher post counts when the post. It's not uncommon. People are going to rank up before you even if they're new. It's not a bad thing and they're not always spamming. They might just be posting every three seconds and replying to every thread. It's not uncommon.

Lol, I'm new, but my average posts per day is like 11.7, not 45.9
