We saw him on our local shelter! My mother really wants him. What do you think? I love him! He owners dumped him off..

gg mariah

aw you should, getting a puppy is wonderful and you would give it a nice home ~

I imagine the puppy is scared and confused </3 I think you should get the little puppy and care and love him/her ^^

Only if you're really committed. For all you know he has behavior problems or isn't house trained. I doubt it will be easy raising a deaf dog, there will probably be some complications. Plus it's costly, and won't he stay a cute puppy forever.

i clicked this thread because i thought i was going to see a pic of a puppy. i'm a little disappointed ngl.

if i were your family, i would definitely encourage getting him!!! it might be hard for him to find a home because he's deaf. if you guys have the means to adopt him, i think that you definitely should!!!

If you guys are confident that you have the time, money and energy to properly care for him, then go for it. Adopting shelter animals is really fulfilling :) Just make sure that you're serious about adopting him, it won't be easy. There's a reason he was abandoned by his previous owners.

I say YES. If he's deaf, most likely his chances of getting adopted are slim:( He was dumped and probably thought "why would they do this to me" Aww I want to cry thinking about it. Please save it :3

how old is it?
have you had any past experience with any other pets?

Enjoy your deaf boxer, and don't call me puppy. You should potty train him early, and make sure he doesn't spar with all of your inanimate objects. I heard that's a real problem with having boxers as pets.

Definitely yes, animals like that never get adopted and get put down </3 Both of my cats are from shelters, one was in a very bad adoption center(luckily they don't put pets down, still a bad place though :/) He didn't get fed much, but about a year later, a nice shelter took him into their care, and we got him because adult cats don't get adopted. We've had him for a few years and he's still opening up to us, but he's very sweet-Off topic vnv (The other was dumped in a [nice] shelter for almost a year)

A deaf puppy will take lots of responsibility~It won't be easy to train the puppy, but it's not impossible, I had a deaf dog as well. They're still very sweet, and I hope you're committed <3

As long as you have the budget, time and room to take care of a dog properly, and know how to educated him, then sure go ahead.
Congrats on adopting instead of buying.

Do whatever you want, man. We don't really care.

I'm sorry. "We"? You don't get to speak for the entire forum

To Lucky, I think it would be lovely if you adopted the puppy but understand it won't be easy. Training and raising it will be a trial but I'm confident it can be done.

Good luck and I wanna see pics soon!

I have a dog that's almost entirely deaf and they're honestly not that hard to take care of, but the fact that you're getting a puppy will definitely make it harder. If you have the means to take care of him I think it'd be a really cool idea! If you do get him, I hope you'll show us some pictures!

I'm literally going to scream omfg.

Anyway, he's really cute! I've always wanted a white Boxer.

Hehe aww is he so cute.

I don't wanna come off rude and that's not what I want at all so forgive me for asking but

Is there something wrong with his left eye? Or is he squinting?
