I disappeared for a while and I had all my villagers in place and flowers everywhere but Gayle moved now I have no motivation to play. I'd have to move so many flowers to make sure she gets in her normal spot and tbh do I ever want to? sigh..

ahh that's the same reason why i gave up on my plan to have only 8 permanent dreamies and have 2 spots for me to move other villagers in/out for a change of pace in town- plot resetting is just too ridiculous when you've landscaped a bunch and have mostly flowers ;;

Motivation to play -it?s tricky. Sometimes when a villager moves away it leaves a hole.

I guess I can only offer what?s worked for me:
Step One:
- Complete re-evaluation of all villagers. Clyde I assume is safe, but reevaluate everyone else.
- Find someone completely new - never had before. It really does make a fresh start.

Step Two:
- New color palette for the flowers.
- if you feel bold, go for a new theme. Color theme, villagers as a theme, Fairy Tale, spooky Halloween, cherry blossom, etc. Finding a theme and working on that theme creates a new purpose.

Option Three:
May be a town theme dedication to Clyde? A whole town dedicated to Clyde. Yellow flowers, yellow benches, yellow brick road QR?!

She was merely saying that Clyde would not be considered for moving out. I believe HHoney was trying to say that Brina could consider changing up her villagers in an attempt to freshen things up, excluding Clyde which is her clear favorite. I believe everything HHoney said was incredibly reasonable and very thought out advice. I feel this is the only thing to do or Brina can simply drop the game if she's too heartbroken.

I mean, I'd be willing to help move flowers or scan Gayle in through amiibo (pretty sure I have her card, but I'm also sure Brina has it too), but other than that... there really isn't much we can do but sympathize--which I do, because it is awful when a beloved villager moves away. :c

I am offering various options for inspiration.
I am familiar with the fact that Clyde is one of Brina?s Favorites.
