Welp...that's new...

I found something new so here's the story board. Villager pings you, wants to move out, you say go, they say no i'm staying bye, you go open your gates then you're like "oh yeah i can reset so they will ping me and maybe say yes this time", you do exactly that, they don't ping, you move time forward and back (just the time not the date), nope.

I'm guessing its saved somehow? Not that i clicked save at any time...but opening the gate even though NO ONE came through, saves it. Please bare this in mind if you do this trick.

Yeah i do that too, works every time but this iss when they ping to leave, refuse to leave, i didn't know the train could save that by just opening the gates without ANYONE coming through. Now he won't ping and i'm just ready for him to leave :/

yeah when you open your gates, or when someone comes in, or leaves, or go to someone else's town, the game ALWAYS saves the progress. i do this to save my game when i have to trade any way.

That sucks! Oh well i have a few others i wanna move out anyway he can wait. Thank you again for saving me xD

That is a super bummer! And yes, anytime you open your gates, it's an instant save. Don't worry, he will ping again soon hopefully and be on his way.

Same for the post office. If you want to reset then don't send or save any mail as the Post Office Pelicans do an instant-save.
