hello everyone!
it would actually be a fantastic idea to keep a journal of my progress on my island- regardless if i'm already super duper far ahead in the game, ehehe. my island isn't exactly complete yet, but, it's getting there. it's definitely, slowly, probably, maybe getting there.

in fact, i think it's pretty peaceful to write all these cute little entries. i get talk about how my day on my virtual island went. i hope you'll all love my island! i put a whole bunch of work into it, so i really hope you find it pretty;;

thanks for reading!

hello hello.

today's been kind of a slow day, as i didn't really do all too much. however, i did buy this really pretty rug from Sasahara, which i went to go and display immediately. it's really pretty, and fit the aesthetic of my living room really well! i also put some more stuff up on the walls, and just shuffled some stuff around a bit. my house is shaping up to look really, really elegant, just the way i planned.

i forgot what the rug was called, though. oops.

while i was redesigning my living room, i thought that it would be a good time to design my other rooms. i started with my bedroom!

before i had redesigned it, it had a cute look, but it was kind of a mess (i don't have any pictures, sadly!!). but, i thought i'd give it a kind of... more regal look. i wanted it to have a kind of, like, rich grandma vibe. hopefully i accomplished that the right way. i don't exactly like the walls, but this room is still a big wip, so we have a long way to go from here!

the last room i wanted to redesign today was the kitchen, although it was less of a redesign and more of me adding stuff. i had a zen desk that i had NO idea what to do with, since it really didn't fit the aesthetic of my house, but i realized that if i put it to face the wall, it kind of looked like a kitchen counter! i used this to my advantage and put a microwave and revolving spice rack on top.

my house still has a lot of work to be done on it, especially since the other rooms are done for the most part, but in really happy with how it's coming to look.

okay, on some other news, my turnip prices were 71. they've been so boring, and i actually haven't had prices over 111, which is shocking! everyone seems to be so lucky.

another cool thing that happened today was that clay wanted to move out. i debated on letting fate chose who moves in his place, but i might just go to a bunch of mystery islands and find someone. hopefully lucky. i really, REALLY want lucky. if anyone wants clay, he'll be in boxes tomorrow!

i think that wraps up everything i wanted to talk about today. well, minus one thing.

this mysterious house appeared on my beach. i wonder who this could be?

today wasn't as much as a busy day as i thought!

today, clay packed his boxes and got ready to leave to a new place. i wonder if he'll turn up at an island of anyone i know. it was kind of sad to see him go, but, i think out of all my villagers, i had the least of a connection with him. i bid my farewell to the little cutie, and tried not to shed a little pixelated tear while doing so.

turnip prices today were low, like usual, going for only 55 bells. i swear, though, when i get super high numbers, i'll let anyone come in for free!! i don't really see why people charge island fees anyway. aren't we supposed to help each other out?

on some smaller news, i made a new incline! i forgot to snap a pic before logging off for the night, but that's the last of the inclines and bridges i'm gonna be building on azalea. i just need more furniture, and i'm thinking of making a small park area by my museum on the second floor. it's going to be really cute! i hope my whole island is super pretty.

the final big thing i did today was FINALLY upgrade my museum. i had the painting sitting in my storage at my house since the patch released, but i just never bothered to upgrade it simply because i was busy doing other things around my island. BUT, while donating some fossils, i thought it would be the best time to do it.

that wraps up everything that went on today. thank you so much for taking the time to read my little report!
