My clock is synced to local time (June 1st), my game is updated, I see the new items on my Nook's Shopping app. But the wedding season event with Reese and Cyrus didn't get triggered? No morning announcement, no phone call inviting me to Harv's island, spoke to Harve myself and nothing. Any idea why or how to fix it?

Turning your switch off for real by using the physical off button is supposed to do it. I think you hold it down for 5 seconds to get the option to really turn it off.
