So after a couple false positives, a few weeks ago I am pretty sure I found my weather seed via Ninji's meteonook tool. Ever since I found the right seed, the predictions have been spot on.

Until tonight. I had some light meteor showers at an unexpected time, I input them into meteonook, and no seed matched.

So I went back and deleted all weather info aside from specific major events - heavy meteor showers, rainbows, and light meteor showers, all of which I have screenshots to back up... and there are still no seed matches. I'm wondering if they assigned new weather seeds to combat the predictions of meteonook, and what's more, if they'll continue to do so with every patch.

Anyone else experiencing this today?

I am wondering the same thing. I was suppose to have a meteor shower tonight, which I did, but I saw shooting stars at 8PM, and according to Ninji, I shouldn't have seen any before 9PM

Exactly the same here.

Yeah. I'd actually recommend using the test version of MeteoNook for the time being (which you can access through clicking "Click here!" on the alert messenger in the MeteoNook website, or just modify the URL to be "../weatherTest/" instead of "../weather/"), since that has the updated weather info for v1.3.0

I think this is a great change! My light showers were all after 21 o'clock, a time when I am already in bed so I never saw them.
Now there are a couple shooting stars starting at 19 o'clock, just a few, but still those I can see now to at least be able to get a few star fragments aside from my meteor showers (I had one so far) or having to TT.

I have light showers every evening next week and with this change, I am actually able to see all of them now. :D
