Ways to get a villager out?

I need Chief out for someone else, and he just won't budge.
I've done the 2 day TT trick, and everyone else has asked to move but not him.

It's driving me nuts. If he doesn't move I will take the final resort...which is violence.

Anyone know other ways to get him out ASAP?

Yeah, you'll just have to be adamant about the TT trick. From what I've tried, ignoring them never really worked out for me b/c the whole goal is to get pinged from them and the best way to do that is 'befriend' them. Sucks. Takes long but... gotta do it, right?

Although I am curious to see if ignoring will work. People say to do that but I always get pinged by all the people I like first - because friendship -

And if you beat them up, I heard it does nothing to lower your friendship. Not sure. Btw, today I'm getting Charlise to move into my town via spotpass. Guhhh want her ouuuttt

Hmm.. like above said, befriending them seems to work better. I'd say just continue TTing, but everyday you TT to talk to him a couple times. It will raise the friendship and make him more likely to leave.

I found that complaining to Isabelle about them for anything and everything helps. Also, I know this is a litter meaner but hitting them with nets, pushing them around, etc. will provoke them. I know it worked a lot better in older versions, but I was able to (albeit slowly) get one or two to move out. Now I'm just trying to get ones I want to move IN.
