Watering flowers

So every day I water my flowers. Each villager house is framed by flowers and I water every single one. Well the next day a flower will be wilted and some will be gone. I haven't had visitors in my town so they couldn't have been stolen. Why are my flowers wilting and dying even after being watered?! I don't want to sacrifice my night owl ordinance but that's what I might have to do. :/

Did you aim directly at the flowers? You can tell if you hit the flowers when they get wet and sparkle. Also, which watering can are you using?

Yeah. I make sure they're all sparkly especially the wilted ones. Then tr next day the wilted ones are gone.

Trust me, the Beautiful Ordinance is so much better.
You can just change the time back.

Weird. Do you use the gold watering can?

If you do, then it must be a glitch or possibly due to time traveling? The beautiful town ordinance would be the only way to fix it otherwise.
