So weird.

I was getting on the train and Katie dropped something on the ground. She went to pick it up, then the train left without her.

Now I'm wandering around my town again and I can't seem to find her.

What the heck? ;

Ah, I just found this --

If she is taken to the train station, she will either get on the train with the player, or lose her ticket and miss the train as a result. Regardless of the event, the player will still receive a gift from her the next day via a letter. If she missed the train, she will say in a letter that she got the next one.

So maybe she's in your town already. It took her a couple days to show up in my town once she'd been delivered to me.
