Biden just totally, utterly crushed Palin. She kept dodging the questions, but he answered them head on AND had time to get back at her and clarify some of her absurd claims. Wow... I didn't think she'd do well, but this was just a terrible performance. No WAY is she connecting with average Americans after this...

I saw a lot of it, and being someone who hates them both (therefore neutral)... I don't really know what you're talking about. But it was pretty bad overall, no surprise.
Yep, this is the general consensus... and after seeing Palin dodge the "What is your real Achilles's Heel?" question, I knew there was no chance ANYONE would say she won the debate. Biden actually answered that question, and most of the others. She provided canned responses for all of them, and oftentimes didn't answer the questions at all.Ky!e said:

I actually saw her in person. She stopped by my university after the debate, and honestly most of the things people cheered for in the debate are either irrelevant things, outright lies, or things that I absolutely disagree with.
And was it just me or did Palin sound very smug and actually kind of scripted when she talked...
Biden did a decent job and honestly I think the hardest thing for him was keeping himself from biting her head off, which he did a real good job of not doing, attacking her would only hurt him, and he stuck to attacking McCain if he was attacking anyone. But he did a great job in stating the views of Obama and himself.

uhh hating both does not make you neutral.... in fact your response is exactly what is to be expected for hating both of them.... one could say you are't going to favor one or the other but it really isn't neutralstormcommander said:

"Kind of" scripted? Every damn reply was scripted, it was so obvious. They were prepping the hell out of her at the "GOP boot camp", so she had a ton of canned replies up her sleeve. The "we're sending money to countries that don't like us very much" is, word for word, the same thing McCain said in the presidential debate.
