Visiting your own town in a dream?

I know there's like NO point to dream about your own town, but I just want to know if I can just for the fun of it. XD

No, at least not with a single copy of the game. If you try to input your own dream address, Luna will tell you that you can't visit your own dream town.

Okay thank you! I just wondered. I'd like to just run around and do stuff in my town that I would never ACTUALLY do. And also see my neighbor's surprised reactions.

If you made a new town and wanted to visit your old town's dream address you can do that, but you can't visit the town you are currently residing in

Yeah, that's my main reason for wanting to dream-visit my own town.

It's completely possible. You need a second 3DS. You take your cart and you put in the other 3DS. Boot up the game and go to the Dream Suite and update your town. You will get a new Dream Address. From there, you can take your old DA, and punch it into the "Search by Dream Address" option, and it should work and show your town in a dream.
